CHAIR COSTELLO  announced the  consideration of  SB 37.  She said                                                               
this is the third hearing and  the intent is to adopt a committee                                                               
substitute (CS), take members' questions,  and move the bill from

SENATOR  STEVENS moved  to adopt  the work  draft CS  for SB  37,

WESTON EILER,  Aide, Senate Labor and  Commerce Committee, Alaska                                                               
State  Legislature, explained  that  version  O deletes  language                                                               
regarding  the executive  administrator serving  as a  liaison to                                                               
the  legislative and  executive  branches, the  media, and  other                                                               
state pharmacy  boards. The duties  of the position  are confined                                                               
to administrative and licensing, which  the Board of Pharmacy and                                                               
stakeholders testified is needed.
